Introduction

    Different from artificial intelligence (AI), this degree program emphasizes business intelligence (BI), focusing on the implementation and practical application of data knowledge; therefore, in the course design, it emphasizes application-oriented flipped independent practice teaching, so planning Two core application courses, "Exploratory Data Analysis and Visualization" and "Data Prediction and Smart Decision-making Application", are set as Capstone Courses and combined with Problem-Based Learning (PBL). The method of Hackathon is carried out; on the one hand, the course is divided into 3 themes, and each theme is carried out in a reversed way of "problem first, solution second, and topic later". Define the proposition to be explored, and then put forward possible solutions and detailed descriptions of practical operations for the proposition. After that, students are guided to propose appropriate corresponding topics. Students follow the example to put forward the definition of the proposition, and invest in solving the problem to complete the topic.
